The Aschberg is situated amidst the Hüttener hills near the village of Ascheffel. It is 98 m high and offers a great view over the landscape of the nature park Hüttener Berge.
In good weather one can even see as far as the Baltic Sea, river Schlei and to Rendsburg. On the Aschberg stands an impressive Bismarck-monument.

On the Aschberg is the monument of the former German chancellor Otto von Bismarck situated. He holds a sword and imperial crown in his hands. The statue was created from cooper sheet by the Schleswig-Holstein sculptor Adolf Brütt. After a long odyssey the chancellor found his place in 1930 south of the German-Danish border on the Aschberg.
